New Interiors was founded in 1992 and purchased in 2014 by Wade Schultz. With a focus on detail and service, the company has quickly become one of Calgary’s leading construction trades. This focus on quality filters through our entire organization and has caught the eye of many of Calgary’s award-winning builders and developers. New Interiors continues to concentrate on building community with its’ employees, contractors, suppliers & customers. This philosophy of mastering all the little details has also helped the company’s growth spread by word of mouth: a fact that the entire team is very proud of. A passion for people and passion for business, the team is what makes us different. We create lasting relationships with everyone we work with, beginning and ending with the customer in mind. We take great pride in supporting the community and the hundreds of people we employ. We live by this simple mantra: do the right thing even when it’s hard.

Wade Schultz

Wade has been an entrepreneur and business leader in the Calgary area most of his life. With experience in several different industries including companies such as Rona and All Weather Windows, Wade has a passion for learning and community. He has built New Interiors into one of Calgary’s leading construction companies. People make the difference and community includes his team, suppliers, contractors and customers. We live here and we work here is something he takes very seriously, and he does what he can to better that community every day. One of his favorite quotes is “Choose courage over comfort” Brene Brown. It applies to so many things in his day to day life. Being involved in several businesses and being a proud husband and father of 3 small children are great drivers for Wade, to continue building this community.
Rob Guthrie
General Manager
For nearly 20 years Rob has worked in Calgary’s construction industry, proudly helping build Calgary’s communities. Working for both manufacturers and suppliers in Residential and Commercial sectors, Rob has enjoyed many roles with a focus on the customer experience, team building, operational efficiency and strategic growth. Rob is active in many building industry events and is currently a member of the BILD Charitable Committee. He has previously served on the CHBA Safety Committee and as a SAM Awards judge.
Scott Palmer
Project Manager/Safety Co-ordinator
Scott was around drywall at an early age as it was the family business and for over 3 decades, he has been involved in Calgary’s construction industry. Along with earning his Journeyman Certificate as an Interior System Mechanic, Scott’s work in a variety of roles with leading manufacturers and suppliers provides him with the unique skill set that he brings to work every day.
Scott was a champion for New Interiors gaining COR status and his unwavering commitment to worker safety is one of our greatest assets. Scott currently sits on the BILD Safety Committee.
Jason Bertalanic
Construction Manager
As a Construction Manager, with 20 years of experience in the industry, Jason has a solid track record of leading projects to completion on time, while maintaining safety, quality and control of the budget. He successfully leads jobs ranging in size from small home or office renovations to multi-million dollar construction projects. Jason is dedicated, results oriented, has a solid work ethic, and is an integral member of the New Interiors team.
Walter Raho
Senior Estimator
Walter has over 35 years in commercial, industrial and residential estimating. His ability to understand drawing reviews serves our clients and customers well. He is an expert in the use and administration of industry leading software, which keeps our quotes extremely accurate and competitive.
Brooke Stone
Administrator
Brooke is an organizational leader. Brooke’s 10 years of administrative experience in the Calgary construction industry keeps the daily operations of New Interiors running smooth. Her expertise and knowledge in this industry saves our clients time and energy. Brooke is also an integral part of the service team dedicated to rectifying any problem that may arise.
